Technical support questions don’t always occur on a nine-to-five schedule, and no one knows this better than leading ecommerce software company Miva Merchant who recently made the move to 24/7 technical phone support in order to better meet the needs of their customers.
Previously, storeowners,developers, and other customers with technical support related-questions could contact Miva Merchant’s Support Department by phone between the hours of 7am to 7pm, PST. Now, technical support personnel are available by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
“Our customer’s businesses are open 24/7 and by adding 24/7 phone support to our support options, customers are able to get the support they need when it and how they want it,” says Miva Merchant COO Rick Wilson. “This is a great step forward for delivering best-in-class support in ecommerce.”
The new support hours also coincide with the rapid growth of the company’s Support Department, which has expanded over the past few months in order to better serve the needs of the Miva Merchant community.
“One of our main objectives is to provide our customers with the same product support that we’d like to receive ourselves,” says Support Manager Wayne Smith. “Adding 24/7 is the next big step in engaging and enhancing our overall customer experience.”
Technical support by phone will be available 358 days a year—excluding Easter, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and the 4th of July.
