Miva Merchant is well known in the industry for hosting its ecommerce conference, MivaCon, each year in San Diego, California. Next week will be the first of many of the new MivaCon Regional Series on June 26th in Philadelphia, where attendees will learn what they need to be successful in the ever-evolving ecommerce universe. The MivaCon Regional Series will be popping up in many of the major cities in the U.S. to meet business owners and web developers in their hometowns.
Attendees will be able to hone their expertise with action-focused courses on topics on SEO, Conversion Optimization, Selling on eBay and Amazon, and more. Courses will also teach attendees about the latest ecommerce technology and trends, as well as how to use industry best practices.
One-on-one site evaluations and networking opportunities will give attendees the advice and practical solutions from the industry’s leading professionals. At the networking events, attendees will also be able to trade stories, ideas and strategies with each other.
Attendees of the inaugural MivaCon Regional Series in Philadelphia will learn from Keynote Speaker, John Lawson, the author of “Kick Ass Social Commerce for E-prenuers.” Lawson is also the founder of ColderICE Media, an ecommerce education, training and consultant agency, and of ecommerce site 3rd Power Outlet. John Lawson has executed more than 300,000 online transactions, resulting in more than $25 million in sales. He is also an award-winning Social Media Strategist, a spokesperson for several corporations, a commercial television personality, and sought after Keynote Speaker, Trainer/Instructor and conference panelist.
