Hey folks --

I just found out -- the hard way :^( -- that MvIMPORT strips backslash
characters. I have a home-made preprocessor for my Miva scripts, and it
turns out that if my script includes double quotes preceded by backslashes,
MvIMPORT removes the backslashes, causing the processed script to have
syntax errors.

Is there a way to disable this? The only work-arounds that I can think of
are (1) use two backslashes in the input file, or (2) use MvCALL instead of
MvIMPORT. Any other ideas?

Thanks --
