Update Customer Record With This Information

In the first screen when you check out, at the bottom there is a checkbox
that says:

" Update Customer Record With This Information"

The button is checked by default. Is there a reason why the default is
checked? It seems to me that the default should be unchecked, but perhaps
this hurts nothing?

Hmmm, interesting, I'd say its at least better than a 50/50 chance
that the user changed any of their information, it would be a
permanent change. For example, they change their email name because
their last ISP went south.
