updating price after login?

Hi,

I am currently using the copernicus membership mod to automatically enter
people into a price group after login. The module docs claim that it will
update the price of all items in basket after logging into the account, but
it is not doing it. The price remains the same, and furthermore, if you
place items into the basket before logging in and then decide to login, none
of the other items in the store are discounted. I have tried searching the
miva archive, but it is way slow and times out. Does anyone know of a
module that will allow users to se a default price group without loggin in
or a way to fix this issue I am having with the copernicus module? the

Make sure you use a module that only lowers the price after login if
that price is lower than the price already in the basket. There are
many modules that lower/discount the price of an item at the time it
goes in the basket depending on rules you set in your store and the
purpose of the module. There are some basket price changing modules
that ignore the already lowered price and apply a price group price
without reference to the original discount. It is a simple safety check
but some modules do not do it. If you have or intend to have any
modules that discount the product prices as they are added to the
basket, this is an important consideration.

You could look at Default Price Groups by CrosstownTraffic.net (which works
great for offering price group pricing without login) but it may overlap too
much with your current module.

Have you checked with the developer?
