    automatic product import via ftp

    Folks,
I am a web developer new to Miva (v4.24 hosted at Hostway). My client's IT person wants to schedule a nightly import of products from a flat file that he ftp's from his local machine in a cron job. Is there any doc on the built-in prodimpt.mvc module to know its querystring parameters so client can call it in his cron job to then automatically update his products from the ftp-ed flat file? If not, any workarounds or optional modules (really dont want to spend the $695 for scripting compiler).
    Thanks loads.

I think the problem is accessing the Miva Product DBF and index files which are
    not possible w/o Miva.

We automatically FTP our product file to our Miva site and then manually use
Copernicus Super Import to overlay the product file. We then manually pack the
      files.

I would be nice to automate the import part but apparently its not possible
      without the scripting compiler.
