OT How important is a good listing in Lycos or Hotbot?

I have fairly good ranking in (within the top 15) Yahoo, MSN, Ask Jeeves
and Teoma for one of my keywords plus size costumes, and excellent
rankings in all the engines for super size costumes. (within the top 10
    at the very least).

I have been trying for 4 years now to get placed in DMOZ, but have lost
any hope of it... so until that happens my ranking in Google and AOL
will suck until who knows how long for plus size costumes due to the
extreme competition in that field and I don't believe in link farming.

Since Lycos and Hotbot (aka Inktomi) went to pay for listing or
something my rank dropped out the bottom on those engines. (I did the
paid inclusion thing, but they have discontinued it)

So here is my question..Are those two engines worth anxieting over?

    Thanks

No way! The most traffic will generally come from Google followed by Yahoo
and MSN. On my site, www.smallfri.com, I see about 3 times the traffic from
google as I do Yahoo. I am ranked 8th in google for birth announcements and
2nd in Yahoo. So, you might want to work on those links for Google.

    Good luck,

    Russell
