Ok - so I added the commerce library only to find out our client hadn't
setup a miva payment account yet.

So when they go into the wizard for Payment Configuration we are getting
    this error:

    Runtime error in /Merchant2/4.23/lib/mbs.mvc @ [00000001:0000003e]: Line 26:
MvCALL: Unable to open URL 'https://mmp.miva.com/billing/gw/gw.mvc': Unable
    to load OpenSSL DLLs

    What does it mean?

    Thanks,
    Will Wright

help with Miva Payment - error

That means you're on a windows server which does not
have the OpenSSL software installed that the Miva Empresa
engine needs to communicate with remote sites using SSL.
Miva Payment, as well as a few other payment and shipping
    mods, require this.

K - I know we have an SSL cert on the site. How do we go about installing
this openSSL? What is the difference?

OpenSSL is a freely available software package that programs
can use when they need to communicate with other servers
using SSL. An SSL certificate is used by the web server to
allow visiting clients to exchange data securely with your
website. Your host would need to install a Windows version
of openssl but I don't know how that is done. :-)
