Miva Product Import Bug

Has anyone noticed the following bug when using the Merchant product =
Import
utility? I imported a file containing Product Code and Product Name. =
When
looking at the product display screen afterwards, I see the Name =
updated,
BUT, when I go into any product, I see the OLD name NOT updated. I also =
see
the new name on the search screen but the old name on product screen..

Updating a product in Admin sets the name back to the old name.

Miva Product Import Bug



Do you have OpenLanguages enabled? If so, you need to use the OUI product
import rather than the stock Merchant import as OpenLanguages uses it's own
databases for many display fields.

Miva Product Import Bug



Hi Dan,

Yes I have OpenLanguages installed. I have used the OpenUI Product =
Import
and it works flawlessly. The only problem with it is that I can only =
import
about 3000 rows at a time as much more causes the import to time out.
That's why I like to use Miva's stock import routine for basic fields, =
its
about 100 times faster, never times out and can handle an import of > =
17000
rows.

Guess I have no choice though.

Deactivate OpenLanguages while importing and after the activate it again.

coupon or other product discount



We need to offer a product discount (coupon?) that uses a percentage for any
product in the store as an override (kinda bid style)?

Issue for us is that we use VC Generic Order Export and load the transactions
to our back end processor. We need the price and discount percentage to be
exportable or at least have an adjusted price in the export.

Anyone have a module that does this?

Generic Order Export does handle Coupon Manager discounts (as well as
discounts from other modules such as Gift Certificate Manager).
