Minimum $ amount of order and price groups

    Hello All,

We have a need to require a minimum order ($500) amount for our wholesale
customers. We use price groups to allow our wholesalers see the wholesale
items. Is there a module or a technique that can be used to force a
wholesaler to purchase a minimum $ amount?

Kind regards and thanks in advance for a reply...

Here's a suggestion. If you put the wholesale items in a wholesale
category(ies) and have Weiland's module below give "additional" 10% or
whatever else "off". Then you price the products to a wholesale price
plus the 10%. While this is not exaclty what you want, it makes those who
do not get to the $500 level be charged more that the wholesale price. If
the difference is steep enough most if not all will make sure they have
the $500 in their cart. If people go around to other categories, they
will not get the discount so I would make the wholesale category be the
first link to show (maybe even a nice prominent image) once a memebr of
the availability group logs in. Retail customers cannot get to the
category so will not be able to get the discount even if over $500. I
would check will Bill to make sure that a product in more than one
category will only get the discount if accessed from the category
specified in the module admin and not from others.

Unfortunately, that is not going to work. The product is put in the
basket and once there, the module does not know how it got there (from
product list or category screen or search screen or a link from search
engine directly to the product page). Hence, if the product is in a
discount category, it will count towards the discount.

Bummer... Bill's will not work... try
        <A HREF ="http://www.mivacentral.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=ADVANZ-DISCSUBT">http://www.mivacentral.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=ADVANZ-DISCSUBT</A>

It says it works with price groups. That will also save the step of doing
the availaiblity groups. You still will have to price X% higher so that
the $500 gives the wholesale price as intended.

Can someone tell me the open token for ship country? I thought it was

          Thank you,
