    Products in multiple categories.

Is there a way to do this in stock Miva Merchant, or is a 3rd party module
required to do it, and if so, which.

I could not make enough sense of the product edit screens to tell (we only
    use miva rarely)

    Any pointers appreciated.

    Thanks.

v4.13 and higher lets you do this by separating the multiple cat codes
with commas and all other fields with tabs or pipes in your import file.

Do you know if manipulating an import file in this way will affect Synchro
functionality? The client is on QuickBooks internally, and Synchro is the
big reason they're pushing for Miva...

      Thanks

The import products file and organization of the products into categories
has nothing to do with the orders (except for providing a way for the
customers to actually find the products so they can order them.
You can import and reimport over and over to populate your store with
        products.
