Header for P3P on static page

Can some wise soul post an example of a compact P3P header for a static
html page? I have generated a compact policy but am having a difficult
time getting it to pass muster when putting it in the header for my static
    pages...

What header are you putting it in? A P3P header
goes in the HTTP protocol headers that are
exchanged between the web server and the
browser, not in the actual html data.

Yeah, well now that WOULD make a difference, wouldn't it? heh. Bought
Ivo's module for P3P in the Merchant pages. Is that likely to be ok to
just have that running or will I need to do something about the static
pages? They are basically landing pages/return policy/that kinda junk.

As for the main purpose of MmP3P - avoiding cookies to be blocked by MSIE6
due to Privacy settings - the Compact P3P in the headers of Merchant pages
are fully sufficient. If you want to add them to static pages, you certainly
can, but it won't have any impact on the functionality of the store. You can
copy the policies from MmP3P settings or generate them using for example the
generator linked on the MmP3P admin screen. You'll need to use .htaccess
directives for adding headers to the static pages (note that these .htaccess
directives have no impact on headers of Miva generated pages). You'll find
        detailed instructions at www.w3c.org/p3p/

Or you can have your host add them to the web server configuration file if
you don't know how to work with .htaccess or want to learn how.

Thanks to all who answered. I decided to just keep my monkey fingers off
the static page header if it really didn't make a difference in being able
to let customers checkout. I know just enough about the .htaccess to be
            dangerous. <grin>
