    image map for nav bar?

    --part1_1a1.ab1fc53.2aec7edc_boundary
    Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

Can someone explain to me (in detail) how to take an image map
(I do know how to make an image map) and put it into the nav bar
in Miva? What do I need to know about linking when doing this??

Also, are there any drawbacks to using an image map for the nav
    bar??

    Thanks!

There are several good HTML tutorials to show you how to do this.

Do a google search for 'using image maps'.

Not much too it other than pasting the code in your global header and
removing the standard navar via admin store settings. You will also need a
free static account and checkout link module. Search for static account at:

      There are two available.

Other than search engines? Probably not. Why not use slices instead?
