trying to flip an animated gif to face to the right and i have only 1 hair left

Hi...
My latest encounter ......
I'm trying to flip an animated gif to face to the right, ulead gif animator5.
and microsoft gif animator, i can rotate it but then it's upside down, it
seems these programs have left this feature out. I've also broken it up into
frames, flipped each frame in adobe then reset the transparent color, but the
image quality took a nose dive.......

Any other gif editors out there or ideas

imageready, photoshop, and thumbsplus can just "flip image horizontally" or
"mirror image". could have sworn i'd seen the option same in ulead, but i'm
not having the best of days...

if you want, send them to me and i'll flip them for you. i have a special
left-handed spatula i'm dying to try out (large smile).

I'm afraid you can't do that, Dave.

You can't do this with any of the tools you suggested. The request was to
flip horizontally an *animated* gif, which when opened in any graphics
editor, will only load the very first frame and let you manipulate that
frame only. Once you save it, it becomes a static, non-animated image. I
don't remember ever seeing a tool that would let you do what you are trying
to accomplish... sorry...

Since when can you not flip an animation in ImageReady?

Open image...

IMAGE>ROTATE CANVAS>FLIP HORIZONTAL

And of course it will open/flip all the frames. That's what it's for!

They are not THAT hind-sighted in this respect...

Yes, someone already pointed it out to me. Looks like Photoshop has a
problem altering animated gifs, but you are correct - ImageReady does not.
I guess we learn something new every day.
