[t5c] Show subcategory products on category page.

I am starting a new site and need to see if I can create it with MM5. I need to show on a category page its subcategories as well as the products within them. Can something like this be done in MM% or am I better off sticking with v4 and Viking templates?

Here is what I am trying to create.

Category 1
Sub Category
Product
Product 2
Sub Category 2
Product 3
Product 4
Category 2
Sub Category

etc...
