    rewrite rules for mm5

Everybody has been pretty quite regarding mm5 this weekend. With the
thread going on on the mru list,
I was wondering if anyone is setting up any rewrite rules for mm5 to
make it appear to be static for the bots.
    Anyone?

Not for "individual" products. But you can create a list of product
codes that will show the addendum questions. If one of those product is
not in the basket, the customer will not see any addendum questions. I
do that in Emporium Plus. If the customer is buying module licenses,
they see the addendum questions. If they are buying movie posters with
no software modules, they do not see any addendum questions.

As for individual products. If you want a different agreement for each
individual product, then why not use the built in attributes and make it
a mandatory attribute. If they don't agree, they can't put it in their
    basket.

The Addendum will do the agreement. I use it in Emporium Plus for three
of the questions, eg Agree they have read and understand the install doc
    for the module, etc.

Part of the problem is that some of us still don't have our copy of MM5
yet. So I mayself can only pop into the demo store or a store that I have
been given access to. There's a lot of new stuff in there for those of us
who did not beta the product and it may just take a little while for it to
all sink in. Then I'm sure there are a few lurkers out there just waiting
and watching. This list is still pretty new - the product it still new and
not everyone jumps to the cutting edge.

Maybe it's a case of shock and awe.

You mean Dynamic Attribute Pricing? Like Bill said, get about 20 MM5 users
together and we'll have it down by end of the month, otherwise, we'll wait
until there is at least 20 MM5 stores in total.

You guys have got to quit acting like this is like every other retail

    stuff just doesn't happen overnight.

    OpenDesigner about 25
    OpenUI about 100
    MM5 about 15

So it is catching up to designer pretty fast. Plenty of hurdles but most are
all being ironned out in a timely fashion. The only exceptions are the
Auth/Capture and Cybersource bugs. Only 50% of those are suprising. The
    latter has always had bugs.

    Chuck,

Are you all still under NDA's? What is going on here... I know you
    can't say.

    Dan

That brings another question to mind. How many store owners were
    involved in the Beta Test?
