        Congratulations to the new release!

2 short questions: Will there be a compiler upgrade as well? I tried some of
the new tags/functions and some work, some don't (MvREFERENCE for example).

Also, in the 5.0 docs for host is written that the installer will install
and configure MySQL and MivaSQL automatically, however I don't see that it
installed MySQL on my machine (Win2003 Server). Shall I install it by
        myself?

MIVA Empresa Virtual Machine 5 - Now Available

Hi Ben, but is this a wise choice? Even 2 years after the release of the
compiler we still have to dig through readme files for new language
features... Isn't that the official format now?

            Markus

MIVA Empresa Virtual Machine 5 - Now Available

              Hi everybody,

I hope the new person who works on the docs will hurry up :) .. Does anybody
know something about the template system that I saw in the Merchant admin?
( with tags like this: <mvt:item name="body"> ).. Is it a new "Merchantonly"
feature or this is an Empresa feature?

I post here the links for the demo store because it is a little hard to find
it... (I found it in the marketing_kit -> zipped in a .txt file .. :)))

              Demo
              ====

The MIVA Merchant 5 Demo store, MIVA Fresh, is available for providing a
              demonstration of
              the MIVA Merchant 5 capabilities.

There are two URL's you will want to link directly to. They are:

              1. The MIVA Merchant 5 Shopping Interface for demonstrating to potential
              customers
what a MIVA Merchant 5 store can look like, and to give them an idea of the
              shopping
              experience for their cusotmers.

              2. The MIVA Merchant 5 Administration Interface. This is used to show
              potential customers
features and layout of the MIVA Merchant 5 admin interface. It will provide
              them with
information on how the software works.

              Best regards,
              Claudiu Bischoff
