    Automatic Related Products

    Dear All,

Awhile ago someone asked for a Module that was similar or exactly like
    this module I just completed.

    The module does the following:

Allows you to put in a Related Product for each Product in your Product
List (separate database). When a shopper puts a Product in their Basket,
the Module checks to see if there is a Related Product assigned for this
    Product.

If there is no Related Product for the chosen Product the Module does
nothing. If there is an assigned Related Product for the selected Product
then the system puts the selected Product in the Basket and then takes the
shopper directly to the Related Product Page.

This Module can be used in those cases where a Product had been chosen
and by choosing the Product the shopper automatically qualifies for another
Product. Such as they buy a Camera and because they chose that Camera they
qualify to buy and Extended Warranty. When the shopper picks the Camera the
Module adds it to the basket, then takes the shopper directly to the
    Extended Warranty Product.

This Module will be packaged and ready for sale tomorrow. If you were
looking for a Module like this let me know and I will contact you when it is
    ready.

It works with OUI or MMUI. OUI is NOT required and NO modifications to
    MMUI are required.

    Thank you,

    Nerd Boy

      Help Installing Empressa

      Hello,

Maybe someone can help ... I am trying to set up my dedicated server to run
Empressa v4.14 and when I try to run the test program diag.mvc I get a 404
not found error. BTW ... Merchant will NOT be run ... at least right now.
I want it set up so that any domain I add automatically has mivavm
      installed.

Here is what I have in my httpd.conf file:

      SetEnv MvCONFIG_DIR_MIVA /home/miva_user/httpdocs
      SetEnv MvCONFIG_DIR_DATA /home/miva_user/mivadata
      SetEnv MvCONFIG_DIR_BUILTIN /miva_user/local/miva/lib/builtins
      SetEnv MvCONFIG_DIR_CA /home/miva_user/httpdocs/certs
      SetEnv MvCONFIG_SSL_OPENSSL /usr/lib/libssl.so
      SetEnv MvCONFIG_SSL_CRYPTO /usr/lib/libcrypto.so
      AddType application/x-miva-compiled .mvc
      Action application/x-miva-compiled /cgi-bin/mivavm

The httpd.conf file had the following preset:
      ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "/var/www/cgi-bin/"
      <Directory "/var/www/cgi-bin">
      AllowOverride None
      Options None
      Order allow,deny
      Allow from all
      </Directory>

My global cgi-bin is /var/www/cgi-bin and I've placed "mivavm" and
      "libmivaconfig.so" there.

My test domain has the following root, amoung other directores:

      cgi-bin/
      httpdocs/
      mivadata/

I have CHMODd the "mivavm" file as instructed. Although MIVA's docs don't
say so, I rebooted the server.

I'm not setting up Virtual Hosts.

URL to the test file: <A HREF ="http://www.cw-clients.com/diag.mvc">http://www.cw-clients.com/diag.mvc</A>

Ok ... what did I miss? Me wee brain is beginning to hurt.

      Thanks!
      Jon Coulter

            Help Installing Empressa

The problem (the missing document) is not diag.mvc, but Empresa (mivavm) -
it apparently is not in the expected location (cgi-bin/mivavm). Just try it
            by clicking here:

            <A HREF ="http://www.cw-clients.com/cgi-bin/mivavm">http://www.cw-clients.com/cgi-bin/mivavm</A>

It meant that the file is either not there, or that the ScriptAlias
declaration for the specific domain points somewhere else
