    OT: Mozilla Firefox opinions?

    Friends,

Has anyone experienced anything negative (or anything especially positive)
with Mozilla's Firefox? Not even specifically Miva-related... just web
browsing in general. I have not had any problems and am growing cautiously
    optimistic.

    Thanks
    rg

Love it. I am still on 0.9.3 though. Heard some issues with the 1.0PR
release. I cannot recall what they are, but they were enough for me to wait
    a bit to upgrade.

LOVE the tabbed browsing. "Feels" faster than IE. Now I still use IE in MM
for some things, mainly Ultra Batch. Some sites are very IE centric and need
IE to display or even function right. My CBS Sportsline Fantasy Football was
one. It works fine now, but at the beginning of the season it was flakey,
but it must have been some Java they had in there that has been fixed. MS
sites tend to not display well in FF, some are ok, others just don't work
    right.

The only negatives are the sites that are IE centric. It isn't Firefox's
fault they don't work, but it can get frustrating when you have to open IE
    just to see a page.

I use Firefox 98% of the time, the other 2% are mainly MM. Very happy.

      Ralph,

Firefox = Great browser. However, I still use IE sometimes, since Firefox
doesn't refresh a page correctly (during web development). From my
experience it's great. Highly recommended (Ctr+T all the time!)

I use it 100% of the time. I don't visit sites that "require" the use of
        IE.

Firefox, 1.0 Preview Release completely rocks. If you are running an
earlier version, make sure you upgrade. Firefox is also basically
        immune to spyware and such.

I also use it for all my development without any problems.

This isn't the place to discuss it, but...

Mozilla (Firefox) adheres to the standards that we all work so hard as
developers to follow. IE does not. The marketing "gliches" that are

Yep, it's the "extend&embrace" strategy of the Halloween paper... They ke=

playing this hateful game: the other day I was struggling with something
which was supposedly XML and it was certainly produced by a M$ tool. I
