    Elaine,

    Our problems/issues:

    =20

    * The yellow display box is a pain. It is set to be on top of
EVERYTHING, blotting out everything else. Would be nice to be able to =
    have
qb display overlapped with yellow order display and alternate between =
    the
    two - no can do.
    * If you minimize, you might not be able to get the yellow box to show
up again (unless you run the thing as MAXIMIZED). I just can't accept a
whole page of yellow with no other applications visible.
    * You can't close the yellow display without killing the retrieve
payment display (so, you have to re-run the retrieve payment program for
each order you want to process.)
    * Retrieve payment does not clean up after itself and leaves
    "SynchroHelper.exe"s running around.
    * Problem shutting down Windows XP system b.c. of all the
SynchroHelper exe's. Have in past had to go in and kill the =
    synchrohelpers
before the system could be shut down
    * The processing option default/selection is a bad one (e.g. if
you've processed a previous order, the next order assumes it will be
processed as well).. no backing out once you retrieve.. it brute force
assumes to auth funds.. we've had cases where we just wanted to look at =
    the
CVS codes, etc but the order completes the ticket and authorizes funds.
charging a customer before the order is shipped. Not quite a bug, but
certainly limits its use/flexibility. Miva's response to this issue was =
    that
that's the way most customers want it .. oh well, I guess the "other
    customers" can have it.

That's all I have time for now. Just not very happy about the Retrieve
Payment process. It could be such a great tool if it weren't so greedy =
    in
it's display and if a bit more flexibility could be built into it.

    Elaine,

Yes, I've had problems.. and have even posted issues here in the past =
    month
or so.. but nobody answers or comments, so we make do with the way =
    things
are.. lots of flakey things with the payment retrieval.

At least I/we have company now.
