    Could I get a few replies of anyone successfully using v1.51?

    We were able to install it, but when we try to synchronize we get a XML
    parsing error and we were wondering if this is an isolated problem (us)
    or if it's an overall problem (all users out there).

      Synchro 1.51



      Hi Julie,

      Miva Synchro v1.51 still has an issue with some special characters in the
      Customer fields when synchronizing. Development is aware of this and will
      release an update that addresses this. In the meantime, you could edit the
      customer info in Miva Merchant to remove any special characters. You can
      look in the synchro log to see which one it is having a problem with.

        Hi Elaine,

        You also need to make sure you are using Miva Synchro v1.51. A lot of
        these
        XML errors were fixed in that version. Looking at these logs, it looks
        like
        you are running an older version.

        I have other 3 customers that want Miva Synchro but before they start
        screaming I want to find out what characters are causing the problem.
        That
        way I can clear the path before they install this feature.

        I've added all 3 logs: merchxml, qbxml & synchro.

        I have a paid Support Plan from Miva and I've provided all this
        information
        to Support and I hope that they can let me know what is causing the
        error
        especially if is a special character entered by us. We've only have 10%
        of
        our products and we will certianly will want to know what special
        characters
        to avoid before we add the other 90% of our products.

        I'm getting this particular error and how do I find out what exactly
        causes
        this error (last entry from the synchro log):

        error when parsing the provided XML text stream.
