    Hi all,
    =20
I bucked up and purchased the Miva Synchro.=20
    =20
Here is what happens now. It Synchonizes my orders fine, Sychonizes
products fine and then when it comes to Sychonizing "Modifying =
    Products"
    I get this error:
    =20
QuickBooks Error: Error Communicating with Quickbooks: Quickbooks found
an error when parsing the provided XML test stream.=20
    =20
What the heck does this mean? Is this Miva Synchro or Quickbooks =
    conking
    out?
    =20
    Anyone, Anyone?
    =20
    =20
    =20
    Thanks for any insight,
    -Todd

Synchro or QB pro 2003 issue?

    Todd,

I had a similar problem a while back. In my case, the product =
    description
    had some special characters in it (i.e., a "(" and a ")" ). The =
    product
description was also max'd out in length. I changed the description to
remove the "special" characters and make it shorter. After that, =
    everything
    worked with the product sync'ing.

I do have a problem in that I would like the products to default to
inventory type items, and everything that's new in the store before =
    getting
defined QB turns out to be non-inventory after MivaSync gets hold of QB
items. In our case, we track inventory in the store, but not on Miva. =
    It's
a real pain to have to go into QB and redefine non-inventory items to =
    be
inventory items. The only solution seems to be to define the item first =
    in
QB. If anyone can help out on this prob, I'd appreciate it.

Miva had asked for all the log files, etc., etc., but I just didn't =
    have the
time after I changed the prod. description and got everything to work =
    to go
back and test out the "theory" to see if the special characters caused =
    the
problem (sorry). By looking at your log files, you can see what =
    product was
being worked on at the time of the error, and maybe correct the =
    description?
