I think I was sleeping in class when we covered how Miva Synchro =
    handles
    attributes - can I borrow somebody's notes?

    Synchro & Attributes

I haven't found any documentation on it and am still in testing - this is my
first Miva store and my first Synchro. :)

So far though, when I have synch'd sample orders on items that had
attributes, the attributes came in as additional information in the
description field on the QuickBooks invoices. I have not found a way to
upload attribute information from QuickBooks to Miva. But then, I'm finding
Synchro to be extremely limited in its ability to manage the Miva
    products/categories.

If anyone knows of some documentation on Synchro other than the basic pdf
that comes with the download I'd appreciate it.

    TIA

      Synchro & Attributes

      Hello,

Miva Synchro will add any attribute information from an order onto the Order
Invoice in QuickBooks as extra details on the product line item. The actual
attributes themselves are not added into QuickBooks onto the products,
however. They will only show up as part of the product line item on the
      invoices.

All available Miva Synchro documentation can be found here:
<A HREF ="http://www.miva.com/docs/synchro/. We are working on some FAQ's as well. If">http://www.miva.com/docs/synchro/. We are working on some FAQ's as well. If</A>
you have any FAQ's you would like to see, please let me know.

      Thanks.

PS: MIS is still working on getting the archive working for the other user
groups. Once that is fixed, I will see if they can add the Synchro User
      Group.

        Synchro

        Hi David,

Yes, the software is up on the FTP site now. We have not done an official
release announcement on it yet. Media is working on the emails and website
        updates now.

All Miva Synchro users will be able to upgrade to v1.5 for no additional
charge. This is an upgrade within the same version, not a new version jump.
It's similar to Miva Merchant licensing. Any release within the version is
        always a free upgrade.

        Thanks.

I just logged into the web site and discovered that Synchro 1.5 (I'm not
even going to ask what happened to 1.2 through 1.4) has been released. I'll
try to ask this without letting my irritation through too much. We're users
of the 1.1 version and I use the term loosely. We had to have someone sit at
the keyboard for 1/2 to 1 hour per day keeping the thing running until I
finished writing automation to attend to the task. At least it runs
        unattended no.

Now there appears to be a fix. I don't see a feature list for 1.5. It feels
like we're being asked to pay another $399 to get the functionality we
thought we were getting with the original product. Is there an upgrade path
        for 1.1 users??

        Thanks.

        David
