Attributes and Inventory
Hi Tom,
Unfortunately, since Miva Merchant does not currently support tracking
inventory levels on product attributes, there is no inventory passed over to
QuickBooks for attributes. Possibly this is something we could do in the
future, though.
Thanks.

Subject: [scu] Attributes and Inventory
Greetings!
I'm new to the group and hope I'm not repeating a question that has already
been well worked over, but here goes. How does Synchro handle attributes and
inventory? Let's say we have an SKU that is a Shirt. Our shirt comes in
sizes S, M, L. XL and XXL (our attributes). Can the shirt SKU and attributes
be imported into QuickBooks as 5 separate SKU's (The shirt under each size)?
In order to maintain accurate inventory by shirt style and size rather than
just shirt style it is important to be able to do this. Add a second
attribute, Like color, and you can see my concern. I have had to do the
conversion manually from Miva to QuickBooks. With 3 colors and 5 sizes, 1
SKU can quickly change to 15. I don't want to list 1 item 15 ways in Miva.
My items aren't shirts, but they give you the idea. So, what I want to do is
list an item with multiple attributes in Miva but have that show up as
individual sku's with their own inventory levels in QuickBooks. Can it be
done?
