Updating the Bootstrap Framework

This was discussed some before a separate forum was created but I thought it would be a good thread to start.

What is the best way to update the Bootstrap framework for a site that hasn't made any tweaks yet? Delete the existing framework and upload the new one? The traditional "Overwrite" method doesn't work since "it" knows that there is a version of that framework already installed.

Then of course, the topic that had come up - how to update a Bootstrap framework that already has had work done to it.

Because the framework codes are the same it won't allow you to overwrite an existing framework with a new one. Perhaps we need to update our naming convention of the framework to account for this. We will discuss this internally.


As for a framework that has existing changes, the only way is to manually make the page template changes.
