thanks but Apply Source was not available; greyed-out both with/without the text selected.

If you read the doc links provided, you'll see that you don't need to edit the js files. In fact you shouldn't for ease of updating. I've used a separate js file to alter the carousel and listed it just prior to the close head tag on the home page.

I use the free notepad + program to view and edit it. It displays it in a nice readable format.

Thanks, i downloaded the bootstrap.js and tried to edit in Dreamweaver to use the file and learn how to change the carousel, but it seems to be one long text block (like a .min file). Is there a way to download the bootstrap.js and open so it's in a more legible format? (i had the same problem trying to look at the bootstrap.css but not the others)

If I remember, the carousel timing and settings are in the bootstrap.js file.

Also if you really want to dive into the developer side of things, Learnable has some great courses on Bootstrap:

The link above is probably the best place to get started, if you have a background in HTML/CSS and are looking to understand how to work with Bootstrap elements.

We also have some videos that apply specifically to installing and customizing the Miva bootstrap framework.

It is also worth mentioning that with Version 9 coming out soon, it has ReadyThemes built in. On release, there will be 3 responsive themes you can pick as a starting point and customize using the ReadyTheme Features built into Version 9. This may be a better place to start if you are looking to re-built your entire store into a responsive site.

You'll want to learn what Bootstrap is, first. Here's a resource: http://getbootstrap.com/getting-started/

    How to learn about Bootstrap...etc

I was told by the tech support via phone call that the only support for bootstrap theme is through this forum.
I am trying to figure out some edits that seem basic, such as carousel parameters. i downloaded the .css files and am trying to figure them out. but can`t find ANY css reference to the carousel other than one margin reference in the style.css
I am relatively new to the technical dev. end of things but had used the miva admin after a site was built for a few years before and did lots of edits and html additions etc.

The miva sales suggested i start with bootstrap because we need a responsive site.

I was glad for a chance to learn more about the dev. end of miva but now can`t find WHERE or HOW to learn ... and now just feeling DUMB.
I really WANT to learn how to make what seem like they should be straight forward changes to the framework, and i do have the ability to learn what i need to know IF I COULD JUST FIND DOCUMENTATION or training!

    Can someone please help
Working...
