Re: MvSMTP and Reply-To
The MivaScript.com site shows it just thrown in the middle of the tag.
But I would also think that you could just shove the header out there too, and it would work as well.

Re: MvSMTP and Reply-To
Unfortunately, either the documentation is incorrect or there is a bug in Empresa. I tried the reply-to both in and after the mvsmtp tag. Neither works. Perhaps someone from Miva will verify if the doc is wrong or it is a bug.Bill Weiland - Emporium Plus http://www.emporiumplus.com/store.mvc

Re: MvSMTP and Reply-To
I just tried a script essentially identical to Tim's example and it worked for me. Two things to check:
1. The additional header(s) need to be on the first line after the opening MvSMTP tag.
2. There needs to be a blank line between the additional headers and the message content.Last edited by burch; 03-23-12, 09:39 AM.

Re: MvSMTP and Reply-To
Turned out to be an odd problem. Course my real world task involved boundaries, character sets, etc. In some scenarios the reply-to would not show. In others, all of the extra headers were showing after the line X-Scanned: 4PSA Clean Server on Mar 23 23:00:33 which would break the display. You have to watch carefully where you have CRLF and how many you have. I was able to get all the extras inside the <mvsmtp ..................> tag rather than tacking the reply-to on the line after it. I need to test on multiple x-mailer versions to see if there are issues. Thanks for chiming in on this tread. This may help mitigate an issue with comcast.Bill Weiland - Emporium Plus http://www.emporiumplus.com/store.mvc

Re: MvSMTP and Reply-To
yea, i was going to say "watch your editor". If its windows based, and set to "PC" format, then a line return is a CR/LF, not just LF.Bruce Golub
