Component Module - Assign and Unassign From Store?

I've created a little experimental module that only has a component feature, and is meant to build a filesystem path based on product data. I'm wondering how I'm supposed to remove this module from my store now that I'm done experimenting with it?

Maybe I missed something in this process, but I think I've removed the <mvt:item/> from all page templates, and then deleted the store morph item itself. However, Miva insists that my component module is still assigned to a store when I attempt to delete it from my mall. I can get around this by going into the database and setting the module's refcount to 0, but that seems like it'd have the potential to break things. Am I missing something? It doesn't seem like I can just unassign a component module like I can a utility or system module.

You need to know all the pages it's assigned to, and get it unassigned. After removing the storemorp code, go to the Pages -> Items and unselect all the pages where the item is assigned.
