I would like to use the functionality afforded by the provision.xml file that I have read about in various posts, most clearly in this one. However in trying to use it, I couldn't find it on my client's system. I am now realizing that it might have been new for Miva Merchant 5. My client unfortunately will not be migrating to MM5 until the summer, Is provision.xml, or more specifically the ability to delete products via a text file available in MM 4.14 (OpenUI), or do I have to wait until the upgrade? Thanks for any help.

Re: Provision.xml implemented in MM 4.x?
There is/was an export module for exporting 4.xx stores (free from Miva) that built a provide.xml file for doing store upgrades. It made the job pretty painless. I am not aware of there ever being any capability to use provide.xml in the 4.xx environment for anything other than exporting data.
