Latest Miva Merchant 9 Module API Reference Guide PDF

    Is this the latest?

    https://www.miva.com/pdf/MM_Module_A..._Guide_v36.pdf

Or is there a newer version?

Old thread I know - I have the same question as RayYates

The latest version I found via google is this one (v4.5 dated 6/3/19): https://www.miva.com/pdf/MM_Module_A..._Guide_v45.pdf

This is a lot more thorough than the function references on the website so it'd be useful if there's an updated version somewhere
Looking for work as of March 2024! I've been a web developer for going on 20 years, with most of that time spent on Miva sites.

I'm pretty sure that that is the latest version, and it contains newer information. They just keep forgetting to update the cover page. I've pointed this out to them from time to time. It seems like poor documentation is a time-honored tradition in this company.

That is the latest version of that document. Most all of that is still accurate. There are new features we've added in the last few years that are not there and instead documented on doc such as:

Is there something specific you're looking for?

To be fair, the LSK makes up for a lot of the deficiencies. And the Developer Support team is always available to fill in the missing parts. Producing top-quality docs for a program as complex as Merchant is a big job, with a big budget; and the number of people using the docs is fairly small. So the budget might be hard to justify.
