We've used the first answer here for years on various sites: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...-in-javascript

I can't help on the how to get it into miva part since javascript only runs when the user loads the page. I'm sure someone knows how....

OS could be gathered from parsing s.http_user_agent
Local time would have to use IP to lookup local, and then use that to lookup time zone to use as an offest. however, i bet there's a service that might return local time if you send IP/s.time_t

    started a topic local timezone?

    local timezone?

Is it possible to get the users timezone (or OS time) and pass that to mivascript?
    - does the 'local' setting in something like time_t_dayofmonth( time_t, 'local' ) actually do it?

Working...
