Re: Iron and Wool ReadyTheme Features

We have 2 sites up on Iron and Wool at the moment and we are running into customer complaints about content visibility when scrolling down. Our present settings have the header stay viable while scrolling down. When on a phone the header retracts and stays up. On desktops or tablets (in landscape mode) the header comes back down. Depending upon the amount of vertical space the header and footer can get close to each other and we lose content space.

The sites are www.artisticartifacts.com and www.racdyn-usa.com if anyone wants to check.

Our thought is to let the header disappear upwards as one scrolls down and leave it off screen while the person is reviewing the products. In the phone mode the customer has the phone navigation at the bottom of the screen to work with. I'm not sure if you could force the phone lower navigation to come out based up how far down the screen you are. It seems to come out based upon how narrow the screen is.

I would like to see any implementations of Iron and Wool or Suivant that I could compare with.
      Thanks,
      Chet Vincentz

Re: Iron and Wool ReadyTheme Features

I noticed on the Iron and Wool theme that the payment fields on the OPAY screen have only one field for "Name on Card" instead of two fields for "First Name on Card" and "Last Name on Card". I would like to do this with my Suivant theme. Anyone know how? Thanks!

Those fields have nothing to do with the theme. They are controlled by which payment gateway you are using. Each gateway has their own requirements for if there is one field or two for the address.

If you really only want one field, you can fake it and have JavaScript split it out into two fields behind the scenes before the form is submitted.

Oh..okay - Thanks Brennan. I'm using Auth.net and there are no options in the module for that.
