New ReadyTheme "Booc" Is Now Available

We just released our newest ReadyTheme named "Booc".

It has a brand new checkout process which is highlighted here:

Very nice and clean. My customers really like our shipping estimate button. Can one be added to this theme, perhaps on the cart dropdown? If not possible on BOOC, which other ReadyThemes have (or could add) one?

This theme has the shipping estimate on the basket page (on the right). However the shipping estimate functionality can be added to any theme on any page you like.

Will the Levels theme use the new Checkout Features as well? I have been eager to put the Levels theme to use on one of our stores and would love it to include the new credit card features?

Yes levels will have a version of the new checkout as well. It is expected to launch in January.

Major flaw with this theme! No add to cart option on the product page on cell phones! I have this on a live site and need a fix please.

We haven't made any changes to the theme yet. There is an add to cart button on mobile. After some further testing, we were able to see what you were seeing. It happens when you rotate the phone to landscape. If you refresh the page after rotation the add to cart button will show up, but on initial rotation it hides the add to cart button.

Once we have a fix for this I will post it here.

Here is the solution to the rotation bug. Go to PROD and replace the entire product display layout with this code:

This will be fixed in the theme download in about a week when the 9.0005 updates come out.

Another bug. This is a screen shot of the checkout on IE 11. As you see the fields are not editable.

Looks like IE11 didn't like resetting the font size to initial. To correct this, in the theme.css file at line 636, change "font-size: initial;" to "font-size: 1rem;"

This fix will be included in the next release of this theme, due out next week.

Will Suivant theme be updated with the new checkout as well? I like the new checkout process but not a fan of the menu on the Booc theme

No we don't have plans to update it to use the new checkout at this time. The Levels framework has the new checkout and is more closely related to Suivant in terms of look and feel.
