Are there plans to update any of the existing Ready Themes to 9.6 or are new 9.6 themes coming?

Yes and yes. We're expecting both the launch of Storyteller (our latest theme) and all the current themes updated to 9.6 on 9/1/16. We have 2 more themes coming for 9.6 behind that in Q4. -
