Navigation Sets -- possible to auto-generate

I'm a little confused over the Navigation Set functionality in Ready Themes (it's been ~10 years since I've done some coding on the Miva platform so catching up)...

Is there any way to auto-generate these based on a site's category hierarchy? (even it's some sort of 'click a button in the admin' type thing to do it)

Auto-generating based on site's category hierarchy....That would be an excellent Dream Feature! I, for one, would like to see it happen.

At this time, there's no way to auto-generate the navigation sets. You can create them via XML import if you code that first. This is on my list for a future software release.

This will be great for site owners that do not have the knowledge themselves to be able to create the XML import.
