Any new ReadyThemes to choose from?

    Hi,

So 3 years ago I created a new site for a client using a readytheme and it never went live (tears). Now my client wants to start from scratch so I thought I'd review Miva 10 Readythemes but all I see are these 11:

Are there more anywhere? 3rd party versions we can purchase? Is there any plans to make more?

    Thanks!

Currently there are two readily available, Shadows (which ships in Miva 10) and Colossus. I am working on an updated version of Colossus. After that, I will be starting on something new. The legacy ReadyThemes are available via support.

I'm currently use the Suivant ReadyTheme on a Dev site but was considering switching to another, if it will work fine with Miva 10 then I may not bother switching. My client would really like to mimic the main nav at the top on this site where it shows images of categories. Is that something that can be easily done within the theme or would I have to code that manually through CSS?

To have a image-based navigation like that will require some custom coding as well as some CSS, and potentially JavaScript, changes.

Hi Matt, do you have a rough timeline on your updated version of a Colossus release? I just had a development site set up with Miva 10 and Shadows 2.0. I am now wondering if I should have set up Colossus but I had wanted to go with the latest, most updated, option. I see some documentation on the forum about implementing the Colossus Mega Menu in Shadows but I am wondering if that will work with Shadows 2.0 or if I should power on with other tasks and hold out for a Colossus 2.0.

            Hi Katie,

Colossus v2 is a few months out. Implementing the omega menu in Shadows v2 should follow the same method as with v1, however you may want to wait until MMT is released so you can utilize Shadows DE.

I do have plans to update to Shadows DE. My understanding is that it will be out later this week. Can you clarify what MMT means? Thank you for the information regarding Colossus v2.

                Hi Katie,

MMT is the command line tool you will use to access the page code https://docs.miva.com/template-branc...rview#commands
