Is the only way to customize each product image's caption still only using custom fields or is this built into the ReadyTheme anywhere? It looks like right now it is just using the image title tag for every image.

Currently, there isn't a way within the theme to have a different image title/caption. You would need to create a customized function.Matt Zimmermann
