I was thinking I had already figured this out but I'm not finding an answer for this. I want to display the product attribute thumbnail(s) in the BASK screen in lieu of the product "main" image.

 Without inventory variants, the attribute image does not live in Miva. The best option might be some sort of naming convention and then check if the image exists before displaying.Matt Zimmermann
