Clear or Reset Search field

How do I get the search field to reset to the placeholder content after the search results have been displayed? You can see an example here.

The old site would clear the field and the store owner needs this same "feature" in the new version.

Hi Leslie,

Chances are you have the value of the search input set to &mvte:global:search;. If you remove that, you should see the results you are after.

Thanks - I was just about to post that I fixed it. I used what was in the old site code, it used an on blur
