Quick view on page other than ctgy, prod, srch - with an image map

I was wondering if anyone else has used xlink:href/image map and used Quick view for the different areas that are linked on the image? If so, can you point me in the right direction?

Technically, you should be able to use a similar link structure to access the quick view function. You may need to modify some JavaScript to achieve the desired results and making a responsive image map can be tricky.

If your store implementation uses jQuery, there is a jQuery plugin for responsive image maps. But know, they are pretty cutting edge and there will be a lot of customers that won't be able to use it. If you do implement it, make sure there is an alternate way to get to the links... like a caption with text below the image or something similar.
