    Create Account ACAD Screen

I seem to be going around in circles trying to find a problem getting Custom Customer fields to pass on. https://www.miva.com/forums/forum/on...ed-email/page2

I thought since the form I was working on was highly customized to also include reCaptcha perhaps I should start with fresh code and not include the reCaptcha to begin with. I copied the ACAD Page template including the Customer Fields (sans any Custom Customer fields). I "thought" that would be all I would need to do.

The first time I tested it, nothing happened, zero, zip nada. So I thought I would test the required fields by leaving one empty, still nothing. That's got me wondering what other things are working behind the scenes (that I may have overlooked) that I haven't stripped out? Do I need to also copy the original ACED template page too?

Something is in there preventing it from working, I just can't figure out what it is.

    Hi Leslie,

Are you writing to the custom field on ACED, if that is the page you are landing on upon submit?

I'm not trying to write anything custom to the ACED right now. When I click the ACAD submit button it does nothing at all. (FYI, I've been down the ACED route with Miva Support and since no one seems to be getting anywhere I thought starting from scratch would be the best way to restart).

        Hi Leslie,

I'm confused then. To populate a custom field, you generally use a form submit and write it on the resulting page. If you are self-submitting on ACAD, then the write token will need to be on ACAD.

Don't the new templates use an ajax-type call to create an account? (Actually, just a partial account, with address details just filled out when checking out?)

In Shadows and Colossus, there is a special processing page for that function from LOGN, but it isn't set to use AJAX.
