    Product Code Not Displayed in Luxe Ready Theme

    I really like the Luxe Ready Theme and (after hours of work) just realized that it isn't displaying Product Codes. We need them shown for helping online customers and for backend processing in our ERP system. Is there a switch somewhere for turning them on in the customer facing side? A fallback could be putting them just on the order documents but that's not my preference.

    I'm having the same problem with the Ready Theme Storyteller. My product # is not appearing anywhere on the customer side of things. I thought maybe custom fields could be used but don't know how to call the product code field into that. Anyone out there who might be able to assist?

      Levels and some other themes do have it built-in and I'm hoping it's just a switch. I checked the source on the Luxe "product" page and the field appears to be there. Don't know about the other pages.

        Unfortunately, there is no switch to make the codes show places like the category, product, or basket page as the tokens are no in the framework. That being said, you can add the
        Code:
        &mvte:product:code;
        token to pages as you need for display.

          Thanks Matt. I personally think that is ridiculous to take it out by default and not have a easy way to turn it on. If that's the case why still have a required (I think) field for it on the PROD page?

          Also, I haven't tried printing a Luxe order. Do have have to add the field to that template too?

            The product code has a tendency to be left out for design aesthetics in some of the ReadyThemes. However the design does not dictate what is still required for the platform to operate properly.

            Yes, you will still need to add the various versions of the product code token, :product:, :group:, :item:, etc., to have it show on various pages.
