I added it to a secure site and same result. BTW this is a crossover thread started by the store owner https://www.miva.com/forums/forum/on...adows-template

    Matt,

Same error here as well sir: "We're sorry, there was a problem processing your request."

This is a development site and none secure so not using URI. Is that the issue???

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Matt,

downloaded and added the new contact-us extension. Followed all steps but get "We're sorry, there was a problem processing your request." when submitting the form. I can private message you the domain if you want/could take a look at it.

Ahhh, yes. It was an option. Keep in mind, Shadows/Elements is a whole other ball of responsiveness. All of the coding would need to be tweaked

I opted to use Bill's Contact Manager https://www.electrodyne.cc/SPTS.html but I would love to learn more on how you achieved this feat

    Hi Leslie,

I do not have experience with the Contact Manager module, however I believe it should work with any of the ReadyThemes. The only tricky part might be matching the design styles associated with Shadows. As long as there is sufficient editable HTML code for the module's output, you should be able to customize it as needed.

In the meantime - need to find something that will work with Shadows right now. I'm wondering if Bill's Contact Manager will work until something is perfected for Shadows?

So there will be a Contact Us form in the polished version of Shadows?
That's not the right way to think about it.

Eventually something that looks like Shadows will be built into the core to take over for CSSUI. It'll probably be RTUI (Ready Theme UI) or something like that.

This is pretty much how I have been trying to explain what my understanding of what Elements is, that at some point in time it will become the new UI. At least that is what I've gathered from Matt's sessions on it.
That was the original plan. As we've worked with Burch and dev on it, we've decided a modified version of Shadows is a better choice as to be part of the core software, since it can't have any unfinished edges.

Perhaps, I too, misunderstood that Shadows would have more features available (coded into it) since it was a build starting with Elements as the foundation.
