    Facets vs. Sort By

I am having an issue on my Search Results with 2 different "sort by" menus showing up. One shows up on wide screens, but 2 show up on mobile screens.

What version of Shadows are you using? In the current version, 2.x, the larger screen should look like the first image and a small screen like the second:

Can you share a link? More than likely you'll just need to add a class to hide one or the other at a specific breakpoint.

        Yes thanks.... https://www.lovemybubbles.com/mm5/me...vc?Screen=SRCH

not sure what version of shadows but started using it late January I think.

Preferably I would use the "Filters" with Sort and View function that shows on mobile, b/c that's the one that also shows on other pages like CTGY. Not sure where that other "sort by" menu is coming from.

Note: we've done a good bit of customization to the page from Shadows which is why there is no left column for the "Filters".

I guess I'm a little confused between the Filters and the Facets .... if I have not installed any Facets modules yet, do I have Facets at all? Any "facets" settings I click on in the current backend tell me that I have no Facets installed henceforth there's no configuring that I can do.

It looks like that layout has been customized a bit. You will probably have to compare the current layout to the original and make the changes from there. If you need assistance with that, I would recommend contacting Professional Services.

So I installed the Standard facets module which helped to clarify things for me a bit. Just a suggestion to miva - it's a little confusing to have the "Filters" built into Shadows UI but not to have the Standard Facets as a standard module that comes already installed as part of the theme. I'm sure there's a reason for doing it that way, but that's where we got stuck until we ran across a miva doc that mentioned it.

Matt - thank u - I do understand now that it's a programming issue from all the customization that is causing the inconsistencies from wide to small screens and will keep working on that.
