    Product tabs?

Where can I find documentation on how to create and display tabs on the Product Detail page? To display custom fields in a tab?

    Thank you
    Ron

      Hi Leslie.
I already checked that out but it doesn't explain how to add a tab to the Product page and how to display custom fields in the tab.

Also, do I need to first create a tab in the admin? If so, where?

      Thanks
      Ron

Is a tab a Custom Field Group? And then I use the code for that group in the Product Display Layout? And whatever custom fields assigned to the Group appear in the tab?

When you create a new custom field for a tab, the code needs to start with "tabs_" and you would assign it to the "Product Tabs" group like the Reviews and Specifications tabs are.

            Thanks Matt.
Is there a doc or tutorial that explains this ... that I may have missed?

              Hi Ron,

Doesn't look like there are instructions on that any longer. They might have disappeared when we launched v2; I will see about getting them added back in.

Hey Matt, I think you are correct, the how-to is gone. QuickRon I am so sorry I sent to something that doesn't explain how to do this.

Hi lesliekirk ... that's okay. No worries. Any plans on adding those instructions back in for future reference?
