    Displaying Multiple Images Mystery

I was thinking the only way to display multiple images for a product was to upload or assign them to the Images for the Product. I understand that the use of Image Types is sort of optional (but are needed f you want to assign images via an import file). I have a mystery, dev site has Shadows 10.06 assigned and is displaying all the correct alternate views for a product. How the heck is it doing this? I wonder if there is some leftover code somewhere since it wasn't a fresh/clean install. I guess that's where I should start but I just wanted to make sure there isn't any voodoo baked into the latest version of Shadows that is smarter than a 5th grader.

What is the mystery here? Is the product displaying images that are not assigned to it?

If the product is setup to use variants, Miva will pull the variant images. Are you seeing something else

After I made the post, I wondered about the variants. When I get back to the office, I'll have to double-check that. If so, that could make it interesting to do what the storeowner has asked to do - to display all of the product images on the PROD Page instead of using the single image and swapping out when the thumbnail is clicked.
