Suivant and PayPal Complete Payments, PayFlow Pro

    Questions:

Is there any problem using PayPal Complete Payments with Suviant?

Do I need to rebuilt the checkout to Shadows level?

PayFlow Pro (Legacy) is being used for the credit cards. Anything I need to know?

Exclusions for old PayPal Express Checkout and/or Payments Pro (Discontinued) . Can't uninstall since I don't want to wipe out anything.

    Thanks for your help!

    Jamie

jsdva The PayPal Complete Payments module is framework agnostic. The default code for the Shadows theme comes with the PayPal Complete Payments item rendered on page templates via the paypalcp_configuration Theme Component Content Section. Since you are using a legacy framework the item to render the PayPal Credit and PayPal buttons on BASK, OCST, ORDL, OSEL, PROD and SFNT will need to be added to the appropriate page templates. On OPAY you will also need to add the PayPal Commerce conditional statement to show the correct payment method fields: https://github.com/mivaecommerce/sha....mvt#L182-L232

If your developer has any questions about implementation have them reach out to developer support for assistance.

Thanks Nick. That got me close. Is PayFlow going to continue? Also, should PayPal Express Checkout and/or Payments Pro (Discontinued) now be excluded from other all payment methods?

I think that will get me all the way there.

      Appreciate your help!

PayFlow Pro's future is dependent on PayPal, I don't see us supporting anything new or fixing anything that breaks. I would suggest undoing that dependency if you can.

All is well with PayPal Complete Payments module now; however, I now need to know how best to accept cc cards with Paypal Complete Payments.

            Thank you!

I guess part of what I am asking is that the docs state: "By default, when you setup the PayPal Complete Payments, it will create two payment methods. One for Credit Card Payments and another for PayPal." Source: https://support.miva.com/hc/en-us/ar...HVRGJ458FY70Y7

However, upon our setup, it did not make an entry for credit card payments.

              ??

              Thanks,
              Jamie

If the credit card method is not showing up, it means your account is still in approval from PayPal. In Miva if you go to Settings -> Payment Settings -> PayPal Complete Payments there is a button to "Update Status" Try clicking this and seeing if the status will update to approved.

Yep. Refreshed. Now I see it
Active and ready to accept payments
However, I also now see the following on the OSEL page:

                  screenshot-www.oregonperformancetransmission.com-2026.06.26-14_25_12.png

The first one is complete payments, middle one is supposed to be the credit card (inspect it to see), last is just paypal. If I click on the middle for a credit card it does take me to Opay to put in cc details.

It looks like some template changes are going to be required to update the logo to be for Credit Card payments. There are likely updates required on OPAY as well.
