Accounting Integration - do you create a customer on the fly?

Hi Everyone,

I'm currently looking for new features to enhance our integration solution for Miva Merchant - perhaps you could help?

Quick question - do most of you create a customer if they do not exist in your accounting / ERP package? Do you track revenue against each customer or just as a summary of orders from the web?

Any insight would be extremely valuable.

In an effort to create a meaningful discussion - what are the most common pieces of data from your eCommerce site that need to be in your accounting package / ERP or vice versa?

Are sales orders the most common and top priority?

Any insight would be appreciated.
