New Service Announcement: Wordpress Integration into Miva Merchant Sites

Lasker Consulting would like to announce a new service - the integration of a Wordpress blog into Miva Merchant.

Having a blog is essential for many reasons, from search engine optimization to simply communicating to your customers. Until now, a blog had to be a separate entity from a Miva Merchant store. The problem is, when the search engines and others link to your blog, it's not getting you any link juice for your store. And normally the look and feel of your blog is very different from your store, a usability no-no.

With our new service, we will set up a Wordpress blog directly inside your Miva Merchant store. You manage your blog - posts, pages, categories, tags, comments, etc., from your Wordpress administrative area, but it all shows up inside your Miva Merchant store.

    Benefits:
    • Custom integrated to have the same look and feel as your store, using your store's CSS for text, header tags, etc.
    • Allows dynamic content, like a mini basket, on your blog pages.
    • Uses Wordpress, which is used by millions of sites.
    • Allows widgets and plugins*
    • If you have an existing Wordpress blog, we can pull in all your previous Wordpress content and redirect the links so you don't lose search engine rankings, at no extra charge.

All of this for a set rate of $497**.

SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY RATE: The first three sites get this service for $297. The second three get this service for $397.

Click here for more information, including a video demonstration.

    * Tested with many popular plugins and widgets, but some will not work without custom modifications.
** Requires Emporium Plus Tool Kit.

Look for more announcements coming soon!

    Cheers,

    Chuck and David Lasker

Re: New Service Announcement: Wordpress Integration into Miva Merchant Sites

Chuck, did both blogs on my sites. Just completed the task last week. Took sometime to get them both done, yet worth the wait. My question now is, Can the blog links be converted into short url's?

I would like to submit the blogs like previously done as a single off site blog, yet now with them onsite & the blocks for /Merchant2/ /mm5/ and the structure of short link styles my sites uses, the current form of them are not the best scenerio.

    Danke

Yes - WordPress has it's own version of short links - I'm sure Chuck can get them set up for you.

Re: New Service Announcement: Wordpress Integration into Miva Merchant Sites

I am interested in having a blog on our site for guest artists, artists on our label, yoga teachers, herbal doctors, the recording studio and so on. Each will need to have their own admin to write as they please. A very happening site using blogs on the web is here: http://www.spiritvoyage.com/blog/

This blog does not look like a store but like a community sharing informations although they do sell music and events so it is tied to the store - but not obviously which is good. This is kind of the direction we want to go but not as busy looking - way to many slide shows going on. It seems they are very good with linking to Facebook, twitter and so on with over 65,000 Facebook friends.

        My site is at: http://www.invinciblemusic.com/

When the person goes into the blog I would prefer they do not see the categories normally on the left side. but a new blog set of categories which feature images to make the pages have more *** appeal so to speak. Our site has been designed with visual appeal in mind.

I see some sites get a sale price. Is that still available? Thanks for your consideration!
