Poll: What type of discount do you find most effective?

I chose OTHER
Membership type discounts -- building point/credits for redemption or access to discounts on specific categories and/or products. More effective from the merchant side because it build recurring business -- customer retention.

You can apply this concept to more scenarios than any of the others listed in the poll. The others won't always work based on business/product/service.
